At Sun On, one of our focuses is to make a contribution to the communities we live in. For many years, we’ve been supporting our communities and will continue to do so. We hope that through our efforts, we can make a positive and lasting influence on the people who live around us. Our founder, Mr. Frank Lau, Honorary President of the Hong Kong Baptist University Foundation, has been actively involved in public welfare works on education and has given financial support to local communities and governments.

1998-2001: Donation to the Society for the Protection of Women and Children (Po Leung Kuk) to provide financial support for 100-orphaned children in three consecutive years.
1998: Donation to the Ministry of Civil Affairs of the People’s Republic of China to support refugees affected by flooding in Yangtze River which resulted in 3,704 dead, 15 million homeless and $26 billion in economic loss.
1998: Donation to the Oriental Press Charitable Fund Association to provide a full-year food support for thousands of elderly.
